This blog is all about the Adventures of Lola Pug, and those adventures can run both big and small. Lola P and I are lucky enough to live in a great part of a great city, and sometimes we only have to walk out of our front door to find something new and exciting.
That includes walking outside for someone’s early morning constitutional.
While snuffling in the lawn, Lola’s eye was caught by an unusual amount of activity on our street, so she marched down to investigate.
Slightly confused, but intrigued, she decided to follow the people (with me in tow) to see what all of the commotion was about…
…and someone wasn’t pleased to discover that there was a better option to peeing out in the open on the grass. And no, Lola, we cannot have one of these installed on the lawn for you.
Her confusion grew as we neared the starting line, both because of the number of people who were walking on our street, as well as…well…we were walking on the street!
And so the Run season begins in this city. This particular run is super popular, as you can see. I think there were over 30,000 people here this year. And what a gorgeous day for it.
GO, RUNNERS, GO!
We cheered the participants on, and Lola inspired them with her cuteness as I carried her back home so she could rest. All of that “inspiring other people” stuff sure can be exhausting for a senior gal.
We’ll leave the running and exertion to other people. For now. Pugs were meant to live the plush life, not the “rush” life, and there is a giant bed with someone’s name on it.
Happy Sunday to everyone, runners, tea sippers, and sleeper-inners, alike.
Lola must inspire people with her cuteness on a daily basis, what an exhausting past time!!

Love your curiosity LP! I’m more of a sleeper-inner and doughnut eater myself. 😉
