I remember receiving my first Mother’s Day flowers the year that Lola Pug was born. Mother’s Day arrived that year when The Pug was still with her pug mama, too young to be with me in her forever home, but that didn’t make the day any less special for me.
The thought of this little face, and thinking back to everything we’ve been through together over the past nine years makes every Mother’s Day special for me, even when they’ve been really tough to celebrate.
Here’s to as many more happy adventures and bright and sunny Mother’s Days as the Fates will allow us, baby girl….
And to all the loving Mums out there who have kids of all kinds, Happy Mother’s Day!
So lovely! Happy Mother’s Day!
Hugs, Carrie & pups x

Very sweet!
I just discovered your blog, and am enjoying it.. I’ll be following it now that I’ve found it. My husband and I are also Pug People.
If you like to read dog stories, check out my new blog, http://maijaharrington.com, where I’m posting chapters from my book-in-progress, “Funny Tails: Adventures and Misadventures in Living with Pugs.” It’s a humorous look at my life with our 3 pugs as well as a series of foster pugs from Pug Rescue of North Carolina. Readers tell me it’s pretty funny.
Best wishes!
