Halloween Dress Rehearsal

We had a get together with the Griffies a little while ago so that the humans and the dogs could catch up on things – in our own, unique ways, of course.

As Halloween is coming up, we thought we would test out a few costumes. Purely for the dogs, of course. Not at all so we could laugh hysterically while we drank mimosas in the sunshine.

So, Lola. What do you think of our first pick for you?

Um. Yah.

Something about the way she’s looking at me tells me this might be a miss.

Even Boz and Clara were kinda careful around her when she was dressed as a fierce shark.

Clara seemed to be pretty content dressed up as a hot dog, so we tried it out on Lola…

…with even less success here.

Oh, what to do, Pug.

Halloween is only a few days away, and you can bet your fuzzy, little monkeyboots we’re all dressing up here again this year.

Back to the closet for us!

Oh my gosh. Lola as Hot Dog just made me choke on my breakfast. Hahha! Um.. I mean, so sorry Lola that you have to put up with us humans in this way. That’s what I mean. Really.

  2. Lola, you were right to make it crystal clear that both outfits were not Lola-like!

I don’t know, LP, but I like the shark costume. I think it fits because you are fierce!

  4. Lola, we think you should be a hipster pug. You could totally carry that off.

Hi, I am looking forward to have one pug in the near future, and I’d like to know how difficult it is for the maintenance and what is the ideal lifestyle of such a cute dog? I’m a student and though I know I’ll give him tons of love, I’m having some doubts… please let me know! 🙂 Your dogs are adorable. XO

    • Hai, Emilie! Us pugs are a LOT of work, and we’re not cheap on the vet bill side of things, either. Mama waited more than 6 years into her working life before she knew she was ready to come home every evening to take care of me.

You have given me an idea for a blog post, though! In the meantime, mama’s friend wrote something about getting a pug. Might be worth a look!

And thanks for the pug love. I AM awesome, aren’t I?

      Pug hugs!
