I don’t watch football.
Don’t understand the rules, don’t know any of the teams or the players, don’t know what the fuss is all about.
Hockey? Different story.
But for Christmas this year, Tilly’s people gave Lola Pug a little football jersey. It was as if they knew that I had been depriving her all these years.
She was captivated.
…wouldn’t take her eyes off the game…
I don’t know what happened. I wasn’t watching. I was in another room, doing other things.
I assume that she was barking for the Patriots (she *does* pick teams, much to my amazement and amusement), so perhaps her funky mood this morning is due to their loss last night.
Ah, well, there’s always the NHL.
“Ah, well, there’s always the NHL.”
And baseball (soon)!

I’m a tennis pug! Tennis all the way! Baseball isn’t so fascinating, really. Mama likes it for the long games and beer, but they hit the ball too high for me to catch it.

Lola the 49ers are the ones to watch.Roxy says its the throwing of the ball and grown men in tights running frantically for it that makes her little heart pound. That and all the talk about tight ends….

Me and Roxy have to have a football date, then. You people can go and talk about people things while we watch our game.

So that Payton doesn’t start haunting you in a bad way, I’m going to have to get you a Bears jersey football fan.

Adorable! The other day while at Petco I was very tempted to buy our Pug a niner jersey. But, I splurged on a Superbowl trip and I wouldn’t get to see Murph on game day anyway.
